Giving Day

Thank you for supporting Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s annual Giving Day.

What is Giving Day?

Giving Day is a special day that brings the Dana-Farber and Jimmy Fund community together to make a lifesaving difference for patients and families facing cancer, in New England and beyond. On May 20, 2026, that community came together in a remarkable way—because cancer research and care can't wait.

Together, we raised more than $1.1 million from over 2,800 gifts from 48 states. Thanks to a generous triple match from an anonymous Dana-Farber Trustee, every gift made an even greater impact.

On Giving Day, an incredible $871,000 in gifts was unrestricted—providing flexible funding dedicated to where it is needed most. This generosity empowers Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund to respond quickly and tackle cancer's biggest challenges by:

  • Funding innovative early-stage research
  • Speeding new drugs into clinical trials
  • Expanding access to care
  • Supporting our industry leading doctors and nurses
  • And much more
