Haymakers for Hope|2023

TBD
House of Blues

Haymakers for Hope gives everyday men and women the opportunity to fight back against cancer by training for, and competing in charity boxing events to raise money and awareness. To prepare for each event, Haymakers for Hope combines the efforts of first time amateur boxing participants, local boxing gyms, and volunteers.

About Haymakers for Hope

Haymakers for Hope is an official 501(c)(3) charity organization that began in the fall of 2009, when co-founders Julie Ann Kelly and Andrew Myerson embarked on the training process to compete in the New York City Golden Gloves. Julie and Andrew decided that the grueling physical, mental, and emotional test of competing was not enough – they also wanted to raise money for cancer research, making the event an opportunity to literally fight for a cure.

The organizations annually hold a spring men's and women's event at the House of Blues and fall all women's event at Royale. All proceeds of Haymakers for Hope Boston events go to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The organization has raised over $1,000,000 for cancer care and research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
