Please save the date for the Boston Open Water Swim, which will be held on August 6, pending COVID-19 gathering guidelines and government approval. The event will be held in a new location — Castle Island at Pleasure Bay in South Boston! Swimmers of all ages and skill levels are welcome to join the event and choose from ½ mile, 1 mile or 5K distance options. Whether you are a veteran swimmer or you're looking to complete your first open water swim, we welcome you to help "Make Waves to Fight Cancer."

Prefer to make waves in your own way? Register for "SAA My Way," our virtual offering where you decide your activity such as walking, running, cycling or swimming, and complete your personal challenge from home on your own timeline while fundraising for cancer care and research.

All proceeds from the event benefit the David B. Perini Jr. Quality of Life Clinic at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Mass General Hospital for Children.
