Knock Out Cancer|2019
The 9th Annual "Knock Out Cancer" Fundraiser will be held on April 7, 2018, at the South Shore Sports Center. Knock Out Cancer was founded by Paige Kane to raise money and awareness to fight breast cancer and to show support to Janice Mannion as she battled cancer. Janice passed away in March 2016, but her desire that we continue to fight – and one day beat – cancer remains with us.
Each year over 150 girls, boys, women, and men participate in fun basketball competitions and bid on valuable silent auction prizes. The Jimmy Fund has received the majority of the funds raised through KOC. Last year, with your help, we exceeded $100,000 contributed to the Jimmy Fund.
Join us this year to have some fun raising money and awareness for breast cancer research. The entry fee is $15 and we encourage you to purchase a Knock Out t-shirt for an additional $10. The program will run from 4:30 to 8:00 p.m., and will include a silent auction and hot shot and knock out contests for girls, boys, and adults.
