Katelynn’s Ride was formed in 2001 in memory of 11-year-old Katelynn Battista of West Springfield, Mass. who lost her battle with cancer in 1997.
Over the past 14 years, the event has successfully raised $1.7 million in the fight against cancer.
Katelynn's Ride/Walk is proud to provide hope and inspiration to cancer patients and their families at both Dana-Farber’s Jimmy Fund Clinic and Baystate Medical Center's Sadowsky Center for Children.
"Nothing is ever too hard to do, if your faith is strong and your purpose is true." — Katelynn Battista, age 11
