Golf Marathons

Interested in a creative way to fundraise on the golf course? Organize a golf marathon at your golf club through Jimmy Fund Golf presented by Mohegan Sun. Golf marathons (or golf-a-thons) are a fun and unique way for individuals or groups to raise funds to help Dana-Farber Cancer Institute conquer cancer.

Here’s how it works:

  • Organizers secure permission from a golf club to play as many holes as possible during a defined timeframe. The amount of golf you play is up to you—play until you run out of sun, until your feet can no longer take it, or for a specific number of hours, such as 9-to-5.
  • Successful golf marathons can be one person or many people.
  • Family, friends, and colleagues, pledge a contribution to support your dedication to fighting cancer. Participants secure pledges, either "per hole played" or a flat-rate contribution.
