Swim Across America

Swim Across America logo

A national charitable organization dedicated to raising funds and awareness for cancer research, Swim Across America hosts two swimming events each year to benefit Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. All proceeds support follow-up care and research for cancer survivors at Dana-Farber's David B. Perini, Jr. Quality of Life Clinic.

America Making Waves Team Relay Swim

Club swimmers, college swimmers, masters swimmers, and recreational swimmers will all dive in for a 2 hour relay challenge with their teammates. Each team will be striving to swim the farthest and raise the most to find a cure for cancer. The event benefits the Perini Quality of Life Clinic at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

This 22-mile open-water relay features Olympians and local swimmers plunging into the Atlantic to make a difference for cancer survivors. This event kicks off with a party and silent auction and the swim starts at Rowe's Wharf in Boston.

Swimmers age 12 and up are invited to join this fundraiser, which features a one-mile competitive swim and a half-mile recreational swim. Both events start at the Nantasket Beach House in Hull, Mass.
