In 2009, Jessica Simpson was the spokesperson during the 16th annual Shoes on SaleSM event. In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, QVC offered more than 100,000 pairs of designer and brand-name shoes — all at half the suggested retail price.
Net proceeds benefit breast cancer research and education at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and various other national cancer centers. The Women's Cancers Program has been a beneficiary from this event for more than a decade and has received more than $3 million for its Breast Oncology Center.
