In the summer of 2009, the Vision Quest sailboat went on a six-week sail from Portsmouth, NH, to the Canary Islands. This unique and very special sailing event raised critical funds for Pediatric Low Grade Astrocytoma (PLGA) brain tumor research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

The sail began on June 2 off the coast of Portsmouth, NH. For six weeks, Vision Quest sailed across the Atlantic Ocean. The boat stopped midway through the journey in the Azores Islands before landing in its final destination, the Canary Islands, located 100 miles off the coast of Morocco.
