Joshua's Run

Scituate, Mass.
Can you hear it? The seaside Cliffs of Scituate are calling to you, enticing you to join us for the 14th annual Joshua's Run. Come for the fresh salt air, the unsurpassed views of the sparkling Atlantic atop the beautiful seaside cliffs, the camaraderie of a fun and festive crowd and the challenge of our race course. Come for the challenge and come for the cause: To support the Andrea Gaziano Memorial Fund to benefit pediatric oncology research at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Joshua's Run has something for everyone. The Kids Fun Run is a happy race for the little ones where every participant receives a medal and prize. The kids will also enjoy face painting, balloons and our very own Rudy the Clown. The 2-Mile Fun Run/Walk can be fast and furious for those who duke it out to finish first or be a leisurely stroll for many who want to enjoy the gorgeous views the course has to offer.
The new Cliff Challenge promises both an exceptional physical test but also great beauty along the way. The tough hills are named for our Hill Heroes, all patients of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, whose strength inspires you as you face the challenge of the hills. You will feel yourself dig deeper. As you race you will see beautiful scenery going past...fast. The views are sublime. The ocean rolls below. Finally, the finish of the race is fantastic: a great downhill pushes the runner out toward the fast, flat finish home! It is truly a brilliant run, and you will not be disappointed.
And when you are done, relax with your friends at the after-party where the family can enjoy complimentary food and beverages, including delicious bowls of clam chowder or chili. Enjoy the food and fantastic company and listen to great live music.
