Dinner and dancing to benefit head and neck cancer research at Dana-Farber

Put on your best evening wear and lace-up your sneakers for the Gala Sneaker Ball at the Renaissance® Boston Waterfront Hotel on Friday, April 15. Celtics legend Tom "Satch" Sanders and his wife Virginia “Gin” Sanders are the evening's hosts and all proceeds benefit head and neck cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The evening begins at 6 p.m. with a cocktail-hour and silent auction followed by dinner, dancing, and awards. Fox 25's Maria Stephanos will be the evening's emcee.

Gin Sanders was treated at Dana-Farber and is a six-year survivor of stage-four throat cancer. Satch Sanders is a Boston Celtics great who played for thirteen years and won eight world championships. Area business and political leaders, basketball and other sports legends, and members of Boston's medical community will be in attendance.

Individual tickets are $250 and sponsorship opportunities range from patron ($2,500) to platinum ($40,000).
