La Petite Surprise to benefit the Friends of Dana-Farber, May 14

April 21, 2009

Everyone loves a surprise, especially the Friends of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute as they plan the La Petite Surprise Party. This special evening will be filled with surprises and entertainment. As with last year's party, the details are limited but guests will have the opportunity to win priceless experiences at Foxboro, Los Angeles and the Bordeaux region of France.

This extraordinary evening at the Four Seasons Hotel Boston on May 14 will include dinner, dancing and surprise musical guests. Event co-chairs Sinesia and Bill Karol, Audrey and Mark Schuster are thrilled with this year's affair and are confident that this year's event will not disappoint.

"This year's Surprise Party promises to be one of Boston's best events" says Sinesia Karol. "The experiences are so unique and their presentation will be sure to have attendees talking, the entire evening is filled with surprises!"

La Petite Surprise will benefit the Friends of Dana-Farber. The Friends, an all-volunteer organization of more than 1,500 members, takes pride in serving Dana-Farber through patient services, educational activities, and fundraising. Funds raised by Friends are allocated for research fellows and treatment programs throughout all divisions and departments to Dana-Farber, including nursing, social services, and pastoral care. The Friends provide seed money and follow-up funding for innovative basic research and clinical trials led by researchers at critical junctures in their careers and fosters programs that reach out to the community at large.
