COVID-19 Fundraising Update

The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has tested us at Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund, our community of donors and supporters, and our nation in unprecedented ways. As we confront this COVID-19 pandemic head on, we are doing everything we can to ensure the safety of our patients and families, and of our entire workforce. Cancer patients can be at higher risk, so we need to be especially vigilant in reducing exposure to COVID-19 at this critical time. We encourage you to visit the Dana-Farber COVID-19 Facts and Resources web section for ways to protect yourself and links to key websites for more information.

We are heartened that many community members have asked how they can help, and we are so very grateful for everyone's continued involvement and support of Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund's lifesaving mission.

Donate to the Emergency Response Fund

A donation of any size will help Dana-Farber with:

  • Unanticipated costs to keep our patients safe and prevent infection as they seek and receive treatment.
  • Immediate implementation of telemedicine technology that allows patients to visit with their care team virtually.
  • Pressing financial strains felt by patients, their partners, and caregivers.

Donate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

There is a nationwide shortage of PPE, which is vital to the health and well-being of our Dana-Farber community, especially our immunocompromised patients. Please contact Adam Reich at adam_reich@dfci.harvard.edu to donate any of the following new, unopened items:

  • N95 face masks
  • KN95 face masks
  • General/surgical/exam face masks
  • Nitrile exam gloves
  • Face shields/eye goggles
  • Precaution gowns
  • Nasopharyngeal and oral pharyngeal swab kits
  • Hand sanitizer
