Pan-Massachusetts Challenge gives $33 million to Jimmy Fund
On Nov. 12, the Pan-Massachusetts Challenge (PMC) will present a check for $33 million to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The funds raised by the cyclists in the 2010 PMC bring the organization's 31-year Jimmy Fund giving total to $303 million.

The winning teams for the fifth annual Rally Against Cancer are: State Street Corp. in Boston, Joyce Kilmer School in West Roxbury and Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester. Each won a visit from Red Sox pitcher and Rally Against Cancer spokesplayer Clay Buchholz.

Actress Valerie Bertinelli will run the 114th Boston Marathon® April 19, 2010, to support cancer research at Dana-Farber. Bertinelli and her trainer Christopher Ross Lane will join more than 500 Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge teammates as part of the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge.
