From July 28 until September 4, customers at participating Burger King, Blockbuster and Olympia Sports locations will be invited to donate $1 to the Jimmy Fund through the A Chance for Kids® campaign. These businesses are teaming up with the goal of raising $1.3 million for pediatric cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Since 2000, A Chance for Kids and Burger King have raised money to fund cancer research and care. In 2006, Blockbuster joined the effort adding to the program's success. This year, the addition of Olympia Sports will add to the program's success and help it reach its growing fundraising goal.

A Chance for Kids supports the many young cancer patients throughout the region who are being treated at Dana-Farber's Jimmy Fund Clinic. These children represent pediatric cancer patients from around the world who will be helped by the lifesaving research conducted at Dana-Farber. The support of the more than 700 participating locations and their consumers is essential for continued success in the fight against childhood cancers.
