New Jimmy Fund Web site launched
Five years after introducing Jimmyfund.org, Dana-Farber has launched a complete redesign of the Jimmy Fund Web site that will offer visitors a quicker, more efficient way to learn about the Jimmy Fund and its fundraising events.
The new site provides the following benefits:
- Wider pages to incorporate more fundraising events and programs as well as a more modern design;
- Increased accessibility for visitors, including those with disabilities, who use adaptive technologies such as screen readers;
- Seamless compatibility with a variety of hand-held devices, including cell phones and PDAs;
- Optimized pages that take less time to download, allowing visitors, even those on dial-up, to move much more quickly throughout the site; and
- A platform that will allow us to easily integrate the latest Web technologies into our site as they emerge.
