Jimmy Fund Night at the Lowell Lock Monsters
Silent Auction, Raffle, and Canister Collection to support the Jimmy Fund
The Jimmy Fund Council of Greater Boston is holding a fundraiser at the Lowell Lock Monsters game on Sunday, March 12, 2006, at 4 p.m. at Tsongas Arena in Lowell. The Lock Monsters are taking on the Springfield Falcons. There will be a silent auction of sports memorabilia and other unique items such as a Zamboni ride, a raffle, and a canister collection to support cancer care and research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through its Jimmy Fund. After the game, there will also be an autograph signing session with the players and fans can skate on the ice. The Jimmy Fund Council hopes to score $8,000 for the Jimmy Fund by the end of the game. Game tickets can be purchased online at www.lockmonsters.com or at the door. Tickets range in price from $10 (children under 12) to $18.
