Eat all the ice cream you want!
Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl® – June 6, 7, and 8
Boston City Hall Plaza is turning into an ice cream parlor on June 6, 7, and 8. The 24th annual Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl will serve up 10 tons of ice cream to help lick cancer.
Everyone's favorite ice cream companies, Baskin-Robbins, Ben & Jerry's, Brigham's, Cold Stone Creamery, Élan Frozen Yogurt, Edy's Grand Ice Cream, Garelick Farms, Breyers, Häagen-Dazs, and HP Hood help to make the Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl the nation's largest all-you-can-eat ice cream festival. More than 40 flavors are being dished up at all times.
Open to everyone including area residents, business people, tourists, children, and families, the Scooper Bowl is more than lots of ice cream. It also features contests, live music, and games.
In the last 23 years, the Scooper Bowl has raised more than $1.7 million for the Jimmy Fund, which supports cancer research and treatment at the world-renowned Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The Scooper Bowl hopes to bring in more than $150,000 this year.
The Scooper Bowl will be open from 11:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 6, and Thursday, June 8. It will be open from 11:30 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 7.
