20th Annual Scooper Bowl® to benefit the
Jimmy Fund — June 11-13 Fact Sheet
- The Scooper Bowl is celebrating its 20th year as the nation's
largest all-you-can-eat ice cream festival.
- The Fleet Scooper Bowl will be held on Boston's City Hall
Plaza, June 11, 12, 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.
- This year's line-up includes ice cream from Ben & Jerry's,
Brigham's/Élan Frozen Yogurt, Double Rainbow Gourmet Ice Cream,
Edy's, Good Humor/Breyer's, Häagen Dazs, H.P. Hood, Kemps, and
Garelick Farms.
- More than 12 tons of ice cream will be served in 36 different
flavors.
- More than 50,000 people are expected to attend.
- Raising more than $100,000 for cancer care and research at
the world renowned Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and its Jimmy
Fund.
- In the past 19 years, the Fleet Scooper Bowl has raised more
than $1 million for the Jimmy Fund.
- Festival-goers will also enjoy live music, balloon artists,
and ice cream eating contests.
- Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for children ages 3-10, and
free for children under age 3.
