Jimmy Fund Special Occasion Favors Show
Appreciation for Guests and Life
Ideal for any social event, Special Occasion Favors from the Jimmy Fund are the perfect solution for the bride or host who seeks an elegant way to express a personal commitment to "a world without cancer".
A sophisticated alternative to the traditional party favor, Special Occasion Favors are place cards or scrolls that graciously notify guests that a gift to the Jimmy Fund has been made in their honor. Guests are flattered to see that their host has commemorated their attendance at an event by making a lasting contribution to cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute via the Jimmy Fund.
Contributions to the Jimmy Fund of $3 per guest for these tastefully designed items make Special Occasion Favors a distinct way to honor even a large number of guests.
"We are pleased to be able to help hosts and hostesses add distinction to their parties with Special Occasion Favors," says Stephanie Fox, Jimmy Fund Special Events coordinator. "These beautiful cards and scrolls serve as an elegant reminder that the Jimmy Fund needs everyone to work together to find the cures for cancer."
The Jimmy Fund supports the fight against cancer at Boston's Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, which is recognized by the National Cancer Institute as one of the leaders in cancer care and research. Since 1948, tens of thousands of people have contributed to the Jimmy Fund and helped raise the chance of survival for children and adults with cancer around the world.
The most frequent use for Special Occasion Favors is for wedding receptions; however, they are also suitable for holiday parties, anniversaries, and corporate functions.
