Through these ventures, companies support the efforts of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, one of the premier cancer centers in the world, and contribute to their communities, while enhancing their recognition in the marketplace.
The Stop & Shop Supermarket Company
- Initiated the Jimmy Fund's most successful corporate fundraiser, the Stop & Shop Triple Winner Program, which has raised more than $35 million since its start in 1991.
- Supports the Stop & Shop Family Pediatric Brain Tumor Clinic and the Stop & Shop Survivors Clinic at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where a multi-disciplinary care team, composed of specialists in oncology, neurology, psychology and other fields, provides treatment and follow-up care for children each year.
- Supports the Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk, providing food for lunch and snacks along the 26.2-mile route, as well as a team of walkers.
Dunkin' Donuts
- Raised $375,000 through "Coffee Day," an in-store promotion, and has raised an additional $7 million through the Annual Dunkin' Donuts/George Mandell Memorial Golf Tournament.
- Maintains an ongoing commitment to "Dunkin' Donuts Rising Stars Program," which supports young physicians committed to developing new strategies to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer.
Taco Bell
- Taco Bell first teamed up in 1999 to support pediatric cancer research and care with the Taco Bell Value Card, a $25 value for a $2 contribution to the Jimmy Fund.
- Select Taco Bell franchises and Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurants in Massachusetts have raised nearly $ 1 million for the Jimmy Fund through various in-store fundraising programs. Taco Bell became a partner in 1999, with Kentucky Fried Chicken joining in 2007.
Hyundai Motor America
- Has contributed more than $3 million to the Jimmy Fund since 2000 as a corporate partner and title sponsor of the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk.
- Participates in the "Strike Out Cancer" Campaign with the Boston Red Sox.
Burger King Restaurants
- Since the inception of its "A Chance for Kids®" program in 2000, Burger King's restaurants in the Northeast have raised more than $6 million to support research and care for pediatric cancers.

Boston Red Sox
Since 2003, the Boston Red Sox have been the presenting sponsor of the Pan-Massachusetts Challenge. Not only do the Red Sox support the PMC financially, by annually contributing hundreds of thousands of dollars to the event, but they also support the PMC as members of the team, providing cyclists, volunteers, and fundraisers who ride or work during event weekend. The Red Sox have hosted special nights for the PMC and a PMC Check Presentation Ceremony at Fenway Park, opening the field up to PMC team members and their families.
CNC Newspapers
Since 2000, Community Newspaper Company (CNC) has been a major contributor to the Jimmy Fund, providing extensive support through in-paper advertising in its chain of newspapers. Programs receiving extensive coverage are Jimmy Fund Golf, the Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk, and a variety of special events including the Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl®, the Jimmy Fund/Variety Club Theatre Collections Program, and Jimmy Fund Fantasy Day at Fenway Park.
Overstock.com
Overstock.com became a co-presenting sponsor of the Pan-Massachusetts Challenge in 2005. Led by Overstock.com President Patrick Byrne, the company commits both financial support and participants to the PMC. Byrne is a three-time cancer survivor who rode across the country for the PMC in 2000. In 2005, Byrne commissioned a team of cyclists from Overstock.com to travel from Utah to Massachusetts to ride in the PMC.
