Jimmy Fund Clinic patients take a Spring break to visit the Red Sox in Florida
Forty-five Jimmy Fund Clinic patients departed from Dana-Farber for an annual weekend trip down to Fort Myers, Fla., to see the Red Sox during Spring Training. Accompanied by nurses, doctors, and clinic staff, the teens and young adults, ages 13-21 years old, took batting practice at the City of Palms Park, took in a game between the Red Sox and Minnesota Twins, and met with the team, including players Tim Wakefield, Dustin Pedroia, and Mike Lowell.
